Been a while, hasn't it? Well, I'm kinda back hopefully. As you may have noticed, I do more than ponies! Yep, I'm trying to expand my horizons after two years of it. I still draw ponies, yes, but only for my characters really. I'll draw more canon stuff when the show comes back more than likely.

I'm on campus right now, so I can't draw stuff on my tablet right now, but I just wanted to say... expect some changes to the gallery. I may end up removing my vectors since they're out there now. Just go to Derpibooru. I want this to be my actual art page, and not a resource page. Just a head's up!

So... you want a reference sheet that makes it easier for you to get pony art, be it a commission, or for gifting, or some other purpose? Well, I'd be happy to arrange it!
These are open on a first come, first serve basis. There will be five slots open. If I accept your commission, I will contact you, and provide a PayPal address. Don't worry about a thing, because I will be with you every step of the way. I reserve the right to refuse your commission if I see fit. Right now, I'm limited to ponies, but once I feel comfortable drawing other species and things, I will gladly unlock them. I am willing to draw alicorns if they are reasonable. In other words, black and neon rainbows need not apply. If you do not have a pony that was made in pony maker, please provide some form of hairstyle references. Again, I'll be with you every step of the way!

Standard sheet - $10

NSFW - + $3
This applies to the stallions mostly, but for mares, if there's something unique about this aspect, the artist you are trying to commission or get a request from will need to know that.

Extra looks - + $3 per additional look
This applies to anypony that needs to have a special get up. (See Sea Shell reference sheet)

Unique pose - + $2
Don't want the default pose I use with my sheets? For a little extra, I'll give you a pose of your liking!

It's been a while, hasn't it DA? I've just been so busy with Nimby's World, I rarely had time for you! Anyway... just to tease you all, I will be opening up for commissions for reference sheets of pony OCs. I'll unlock other species when I'm more comfortable drawing them. Stay tuned for that!

Dear Lauren Faust,

What does FiM mean to me? For me, it's more than a rebranding of My Little Pony, and an amazing cartoon. It's the reason I rediscovered a passion for art, and it has helped me make some amazing friends. Before Friendship is Magic even started, I was going nowhere in my life. I had no passion, no desire, no hope. I felt empty and incomplete. And then in October 2010, I discovered the magic of FiM thanks to 4chan of all places! I did not think any of the discussion going on was real. This is 4chan after all! After I watched my first episode of Friendship is Magic, for whatever reason, I felt a smile creep across my face.

I wanted to contribute something to the growing fandom, but I had no ability to draw, nor did I have any desire to pick it up back then. The most I could do was trace some low resolution screengrabs and use Paintshop Pro to try and turn them into desktop wallpapers. I found myself happy to be contributing something, but it was probably not the best contribution I could have made. However, there were a lot of people who wanted these wallpapers that I suddenly started trying to churn them out. Eventually I discovered a small community on IRC dedicated to Friendship is Magic, and had I not gone there, I wouldn't have been met the people I call my friends today. I don't know what was happening, but I liked it. If I had to describe it, it felt like putting the pieces of my life back together. But things eventually got to the point where I started to feel all sorts of pain.

As my arm hurt, I felt myself slipping back into a state of depression. I told myself that if I had ever stopped making these wallpapers, would anybody be paying attention to me? Would everybody think I was dead? Was there any reason to continue living? With how bad things were in the real world, I had a mental breakdown. Had I not met those friends in the IRC, I probably would have lost my passion for what I was doing, and slipped back into my slump.

As season 2 went on into 2012, a great thing happened to me. I told myself no more vectors, I wanted to draw. I picked up a sketchbook and pencils and tried to draw, but every attempt looked like garbage. I figured if I've been vectoring ponies for so long, drawing them should be easy as pie. It wasn't. I had actually just put my stuff down after that, almost giving up, but I had my friends there to encourage me. It wasn't until my birthday when I decided to take my art digital. About a week or so after my birthday, I purchased a Wacom Intuos 5 medium. Something I never would have seen myself purchasing a long time ago. I made a promise to myself that I would draw a pony a day to try and improve. My first ponies were an absolute nightmare, but I had plenty of people to help me with some constructive criticism.

Then an event on Equestria Daily called The Artist Training Grounds happened. I was excited to enter it, and I was prepared for anything. When I look back at the stuff I've drawn for the ATG, I not only see a noticeable improvement, but I see that as time went on with those improvements, it was clear I had a passion for drawing, and while I am still learning, I continue to improve.

What does Friendship is Magic mean to me? A lot. It helped me rediscover my passion for art, it has helped me make some great friends, and more importantly, it made me smile. I feel like thanks to you and this show, I have a great reason to be alive. As of today, I am going to school to pursue my associate's degree in graphic design. From the bottom of my heart Lauren Faust, all I can say is thank you for everything. If it weren't for you, and Friendship is Magic, I don't know where I'd be today.

A big thank you to those who actually read the rules. I will get on these requests as soon as possible! Who knows, maybe after this I can open up for cheap commissions! Until then, requests are closed, and I thank you for these requests.

Just shut up for one second, and listen to me. When I started drawing these silly pastel colored miniature equines I thought I would be on the same level as many of the big name artists. I thought I was going to be the bee's knees, but when I first started drawing, this was the end result:

Yeah, as you can see I wasn't even close to MegaSweet, Carnifex, Egophiliac, Braeburned, Dovne, John Joseco, or any other artist I haven't mentioned. It sucks I wasn't at the same level as them, but you want to know something? I refused to quit, because I wanted to be at that level. I kept drawing and drawing, never thinking of quitting. I had plenty of encouragement along the way to keep at it, and even though I may say my drawing for that day was absolute crap, it didn't stop me.

Another thing I did was ask for help from other artists. I asked them to critique my work, and not only did they point out what I was doing wrong, some of them even helped me find a guide to learn off of. I could still use one for zebras, but you get the idea. I didn't take any critiques as a personal attack, but I took it as advice, and learned from it. If you cannot handle criticism, you are in the wrong field.

Now look at how far I've come after a month and a half:

Do I consider myself to be on the same level as the artists I mentioned earlier? No. Does it matter to me? Not really. Am I still working on improving? Always. The best advice I can give to you is to sit down, shut up, and draw. If you don't take criticism so personally, you will grow as an artist.

Again, I appreciate all the advice I've been getting to help me grow as an artist. This is something I'm very passionate about, and I hope it's showing in my work. I do apologize for flooding my gallery with NATG entries, but I promise some stuff will be showing up soon. The next things I need to get done are get this freaking anatomy correct, and get out of flat coloring and try shading. I'm so worried about it looking bad though! Now for the tidbits!

- Nimbostratus will get something of a model sheet. This is to make drawing her easier for other artists, because the mane I gave her seems to be crazay!
- She will also be getting her own tumblr, but it will be deemed not safe for woona. Just throwing that out there!
- The OC guide is still being worked on. After suffering nasty writer's block, it is back on track. I can't promise any dates when it will be done.
- Legends of Equestria is going to be awesome. That's all I'm going to say. and yes I am on their team.
- I should get sleep now.

- Time for the news on the OC guide. I'm still working on it. I had a case of writer's block for a bit, but I have gotten back to work on it. Right now I'm up to Chapter 2 and should have that done momentarily. Still deciding on a title, and I probably won't pick one until I start my final drafts of the chapters. Yes, I'm still on first drafts, don't laugh! Here's a small snippet of what to expect in the guide (Not final, but something I thought of off the top of my head): Perhaps your character is not a pony. Perhaps he or she is a zebra. It's important to note that no two zebras ever look the same, as each zebra has unique stripes. This might explain why Zecora's the only known zebra in the show.

- Are you following BroNEcast? It's yet another podcast dedicated to ponies, but this one sticks to a close-knit group in Nebraska. We are trying to get an audience, and appreciate you giving us a listen!…

- As you may have guessed, yes I do in fact have an Intuos5 Medium drawing tablet. I have been using it at least once a day to try and draw the most basic of ponies. You can follow these exploits on my tumblr (NSFW) .

- I will be entering the Artist Training Grounds when the next theme begins. You will most likely see some really bad art from me, so I do apologize, as I haven't gotten 100% adjusted to the tablet, and I stunted my drawing abilities by nearly giving up for a decade!

- Confound you Egophiliac, you drive me to Monster High.

- Tron Uprising is an awesome show, and you need to watch it.

That should just about do it! Hope you guys look forward to my craptastic ATG submissions!

Are you listening to BroNEcast? If not, what are you waiting for?! Get off your rump and listen to it!

BroNEcast is a podcast where a bunch of Nebraskan bronies get together and discuss the subject of MLP. I'm a regular on it, and it's a whole lot of fun! Now, I do apologize in advance if my voice gets shaky from time to time. My headphones are so tight, I can't control my volume, and even when speaking into a mic, it turns out weird. But either way, I'm plugging BroNEcast because it's a wonderful thing to do on a sunday!

The writing process has officially gone underway. Within the first two minutes of writing out the introduction pages, I already made a reference to the show with the following line: By the end of this guide, you will be equipped with all the knowledge you will need to turn your original pony from just another jane doe, into the type of pony every pony should know. Again, two minutes in and already I'm making references. Expect to see little references like this hidden here and there. More importantly, this weekend I will be doing an interview with Laughing Track at BroNEcast for this thing. I will post more details about that as they become available. Also, still looking for some titles, and I like what I'm seeing so far. There are a lot of people that will be getting a special thanks, and you can get yours if you submit a great title!

Hello everypony! I appreciate all the enthusiasm you guys are displaying for this guide, but now it's time for a quick update on that. I have made my decision to go forward with this project, but I didn't realize how huge of a project I made it. While I was busy with the brainstorming aspects, I just kept writing ideas down, that by the end of the day I had brainstormed a whopping six chapter guide! Yes, I said it was going to go in depth, but because of this, the guide will end up being released as a PDF, and ONLY as a PDF. Requests for other file types will be ignored, and you should have Adobe Reader installed anyway.

If you want to contribute to the guide, here's your chance! I am currently trying to come up with the ideal title for this guide, and so far I have come up with The Perfect Pony and Designing Pony, which I feel isn't strong enough. So if you want to be added to the special thanks, all you have to do is help me come up with ideas for a title!

Thank you for your time, and I hope you all are looking forward to this as much as I am looking forward to creating it.

Would anybody like to see something resembling an OC guide? Was thinking about trying to show the process of creating a decent OC. Part of the reason I want to show it is because I'm planning to start a tumblr around this OC idea. So, if the answer is yes, please say so!

Yep, I've been a bit slow because of school. It's kind of a funny story... back when I was a kid, I always said "ewwww school!" I really wasn't a great student at all. I had a habit of lying about the assignments I had, getting my homework done, etc. It was because I got hit with stuff like slopes, sine and cosine, which drove me nuts. It was the real killer for my high school years. All the other classes, I didn't really give a crap about. The only classes that seemed to matter to me were electives like video production, art, drama, music appreciation, etc. Eventually when I moved to Omaha, the rest of my life was homeschooling. Now, I'm going to a community college that supposedly has a great arts program, in which I will be pursuing an associate's degree in graphic design. I'm still taking my prerequisites, i.e. English Comp 1 and 2, and Business Mathematics. I've already survived the English comp 1 (with an A), and am currently taking the business math. I just wish this was an afternoon class, and didn't go from 4:30 PM to 6:45 PM. Oh well, such is life?

Balancing school, a job, gamean, LoE work, and vectors is tough work, but I know in the end it's what has to be done.

Ask the Stock Ponies
I recently purchased the Generation B font, so I'll be creating the header, and I should be ready to open this thing fairly soon. I've gotten a ton of stock art, and I need to start re-vectoring the ponies and hooves. In other words, it's moving along quite nicely.

MLP Online
This was a difficult decision I had to make recently. I wasn't feeling too happy with the way things were going on the project, and due to a few staff differences, I was left with little choice but to leave the project. I am, unfortunately, not available for your projects, as I am currently joining the Legends of Equestria art team. As much as I'd like to contribute to a ton of projects, real life stuff would prevent me from taking on multiple projects at once. You can check out LoE at

The set with the mane six is halfway done! I'm just constantly playing with filters as some ponies just won't cooperate, and I want them to kind of glow. So... when I decide to stop playing around with filters, I can get much more done.

Almost done with this silly English Comp 1 class. Only two weeks to go as of this post, and then I will start MATH 1220 for summer quarter. And that's a five week class.

Life in general?
I'm a bit more happy, and upbeat as of recent. I not only have to thank a daily dose of ponies off of my AppleTV box, but also a dear friend of mine who has been so kind to help me get through how silly I have been getting upset over nothing.

I've got something special to talk about!…

By now, most of us are well aware of the really bad clip art in the official content. Well, it's thanks to the Ask Terry tumblr ( ) that I have come up with a concept called Ask the Stock Ponies. What is ask the stock ponies? I'm glad you asked! Ask the Stock Ponies is basically something of a parody of what if Hasbro put up an official My Little Pony ask the ponies tumblr. It's not just in terms of stock artwork, but it will also feature rather bland, 1 dimensional personalities! I've set up the basics of the tumblr itself, but right now I've got a few things preventing me from opening it for questions.

1) Stock clip art. I'm trying to get as much as the stock clip art as possible, and while some of it appears to be manipulated in certain ways, I don't think I have enough of the stock art. So if anypony could point me into the general direction to this stock art, I'd really be happy. It can be from the coloring books, or from somewhere else, but as long as I can recognize it as stock clip art, I will be happy!

2) Font. I realize the font used for a lot of the art is Generation B, and I do not have it at this moment. Before you say "Why not use the Celestia medium redux," it's because that's a knock off. I'm not going to use a knock off, I want the real deal. Do not donate, because that's a $20 font I can easily buy when I have funds!

3) Manipulating the art. With the way the bodies are manipulated, I'm going to have a ton of resources I will need to vector. That's going to be A TON of hooves!

In short, it's not quite ready yet, but a lot of the groundwork HAS been laid out, and it's a matter of time before it opens. When I get a little closer to opening the tumblr, I'll show a concept of what to expect. Questions must be safe for woona, and must be for the mane six or Celestia. Also, there will be some of your usual posts like "We love Pinkie Pie because she's always happy! What are things that make you happy?"

I'm looking forward to this one, it's going to be fun!
