“Oh no, do you see that?” questioned Bat Girl worried after she had flown over the villains position and discovered that Amanda and Veteran had been taken captive.
“That is indeed not good.” said Golddigger worried for his old friend, unsure what they should do now. From their hidden position they managed to see the villains atop the building, but with their friends and maybe even other hostages in the building, they could not simply dare to attack.
“We need to rescue them somehow and stop these villains.” said T-Bone very worried but still ready to help his friends and stop this bad people at all costs.
“Then we need a good plan kid.” realized Golddigger in fear of what the day might bring for them all. Any wrong step and they and their new friends could die the former military member realized.
“I think I have a idea.” said the female bat with a smile.
“Isn't it funny?” questioned Augmento as he walked over to his prisoners, knowing that the heroes were coming closer, a few of them were already inside the UN building, fighting his members of the Quirkment League in a few floors. “The hero society and the government who claim to protect you all from evil are in reality the worst evil.” said Augmento serious. “They prevent you from evolving further, from stepping up in the game of evolution, denying Quirk Marriages and my increasing of everyone's abilities and power.” said Augmento and only now Veteran realized that he wasn't only talking to him and Redback Arachne, his speech was broadcasted by the news and the internet n real time to reach as many people as possible. “The truth is they fear what they can't understand or control, like mankind always has done in history.” knew Dr. Zachariah Snyder worried looking as he faced the cameras again. “Shouldn't people be allowed to marry, when they love each other? Shouldn't they be allowed to have kids, no matter if society feared the potential power of this children?” questioned Augmento in a very serious but calm voice. “Thing's like this have happened before throughout all of mankind's history, some groups feared others and tried to extinct them because of it.” refereed the leader of the Quirkment League to some of the most evil, autocratic and sometimes even racist tyrannies in the history of man. “Big government always knows what's best for you, but in reality they only mean what's best for them and their power.” stated the villain's leader angry sounding now. “What if Archimedes, Tesla's or Einstein's parents would have been forces to not marry or never get any kids together?” he questioned worried about such a idea alone. “How many chances and possibilities have already been robbed from mankind because of these laws?” How many superhuman superpowered babies have been aborted because of this law, or should I more clearly say killed?” said Augmento saddened. “Just think of the possibilities, opposing this ideas and our ideology means nothing short then a crime against all of mankind, nature probably too.” know Dr. Snyder angry looking. “We could end all of our energy, housing and food problems in this world, if we allowed certain people to use their quirks to their fullest potential. Imagine what we can do with the rest of our powers if we all work together to uplift mankind to the next level of evolution by using quirks as best as possible and by increasing them with inter-quirk marriages of any kind.” said Dr. Zachariah Snyder hopefully that mankind would be it's best, brightest and greatest under such a unifying and open ideology.
“Maybe people would buy what you're selling if you wouldn't force them to?” asked T-Bone, who had finally arrived at the top of the UN Building too with the rest of his friends.
“What chance did I have young man? They were imprisoning us, attacking us on the streets and in our everyday life.” said Augmento as he turned around to face the assumable heroes who had arrived, while his main fighters still kept the Top Heroes and other Pro's at Bay for now.
“That's nearly ancient history for today's generation. Nothing is like that anymore.” said Bat Girl who since meeting Tyler has started to hope that all of society could be more open and change to accept her and all extreme quirks finally some day without any problems.
“Is it? What has truly changes as long as these people and many of their discriminating laws are still in power and enforced on us? When their Fake News still discriminate against us and our goals on a daily base? When they villainize us for our Quirks and their possible dangers alone? ” questioned Dr. Zachariah Snyder. “We tried the peaceful way long enough, it's time to claim our own power base, our own state and show the world that we are right. Give me ten years and our full Quirkment Society and State will outproduce the rest of the world combined.” was Augmento sure of. “That's what they truly fear, our unused power and dominance over them, that they might lose their jobs, careers and power position over us, the same things they use to continuously enslave us to this day.” argued Augmento sure that this was the main and truest reason for their opposing of his ideas, politics and ideology.
“Then try again. From the moment I learned about you first you were my hero, I looked up to you.” said Tyler Trevon Treston honestly as he was nearly in tears, falling to his knees. “You were better then them, you had the potential to slowly show them that you were right. If only you hadn't lost your ways and became a villain.” said a tearing T-Bone angry and disappointed.
“That's not what happened.” claimed Veteran strongly disagreeing with his young student on the point.
“How would you know?” questioned Augmento that the captured man most likely had his information from the news or some books, all written by those that the Quirkment League opposed and that had beaten it before.
“All of that doesn't matter.” said Tyler confident as he stood up again, confident that what they were doing was the right thing, just like Augmento believed the same of himself and his followers. “You had plenty of time to show the world you were right without violence, me and my friends will stop you.” claimed T-Bone full of anger in his voice now.
“Really now boy?” questioned Augmento grinning. “Just ask your female friend over there who saved her?” he said looking at Amanda. “Or ask yourself what I and my vision could do for you.” smiled Dr. Snyder friendly. “Join forces with us and your pitiful, useless quirk can be morphed into something incredible, astounding.” smiled Augmento, reaching out his hand to the young man. He knew that everyone wished to be a better version of himself deep inside and that he could bring out the best inside of everyone.
“I've always wanted to be a hero.” said Tyler looking at the offer, while his friends watched with mixed expressions and feeling. Stepping forwards T-Bone grabbed the hand that Augmento was reaching out to him with.
“A wise choice young man.” smiled Augmento ready to increase the possibilities of his quirk as suddenly the young man added;
“I know, that's why I'm doing this.” said Tyler, tackling Augmento down at the side of the building, leading to both of them to fall down. At the same time Bat Girl and Golddigger started attacking Thorn King to free their fellow comrades, while fighting the members of the Quirkment League, while , Riku Yamazaki, alias Y and other Top Heroes finally arrived at the top of the UN Building to stop the villains.
“Are you insane?” questioned Augmento as he tried to struggle away. “I could have made you a powerful hero to rescue society, now you will end up as a fool and a stupid martyr, not much more.” said Augmento disappointed at this young fool, hoping one of his followers would save at least him before the impact.
“You simply underestimate me and my Quirk.” realized T-Bone thanks to his creative thinking right now. Using his quirk he used his momentum and earth's gravity to escape the embrace with Augmento and turn his body around, falling up with the now turned movement until gravity captured him again. Knowing he couldn't simply let the man die, T-Bone dived down directly, surpassed Augmento and used his Quirk again to turn himself and the momentum around upwards, grabbing Augmento again and countering his fall heavily, before doing the same thing again to stop his own fall nearly complete. While Augmento crushed into the roof of the lower UN building, breaking most of his bones and loosing conscience, he survived thanks to T-Bone. The young black man meanwhile had only a few broken bones as his arm and leg, far away from the critical condition of the leader of the Quirkment League.
Trying to stand up T-Bone lost conscience himself from he pain, when he awoke his team and some other Heroes, Top Heroes like Y Man no less surrounded the area. Augmento and most of his followers of the Quirkment League had been beaten and arrested until then. Augmento himself heavily wounded and hurt was cuffed and given special full hand handcuffs so he couldn't touch anyone with his hands and disable their Quirks for good. The Vigilante Hero Group Justice Delivery had to face their own trials for breaking the law, but most charges were ended as it was seen the whole city was under self defence at the time. Even better some heroes showed interest in getting them inside their own Hero Agencies or at least giving them tips and using them as sidekicks during missions from now on. Hero Society, the Government and the News did their best to cover the events and to counter Augmento's arguments and ideals from his life stream of events during the assaults.
But what remained was Augmento's smug evil grin when he was arrested, as if his little show of power still had archived everything he, his ideology and the remaining free members of the Quirkment League still had gotten everything they had hoped for. The incident and this image alone left a uneasy feeling with the American hero Society and New Yorkers especially. For the first time, Bat Girl, Redback Arachne, T-Bone, Golddigger and veteran were viewed as true heroes across the city like so many others heroes and helping civilians who had helped end this terrorists assault and attack with combined forces. As he was brought into a high security prison after a jury judged him guilty on most crimes brought up against him until now, Augmento wasn't the least bit concerned. He knew he didn't matter in the grand scheme, that he was just the messenger, the prophet of his vision. But every vision could survive it's prophet and visionary thanks to his Apostle and followers as long as they escaped and spread his ideas and words. And Augmento just knew that enough had escaped and he had also won countless new for his plans and ideals thanks to his broadcast speech and show of power, that the whole world could see in the news for weeks and months to follow. History had been written and the grinning Augmento in his cell, paralyzed to a wheelchair for good, just knew history would once again change in his favor very soon.
