The growing Corellian Crisis, also known as the Seven World Crisis or Commonwealth, posed a major problem for the Galactic Republic, who had already been very weakened from the Clone Wars overall. Corellia and the other six worlds hat formed the Commonwealth together under Commonwealth Prime Minister Bel Ilbis had recently announced the Corellian Declaration, also known as the Corellian Constitution, or Commonwealth Constitution, giving only more rise to their movement. The Neutralist and partly Moderate Galactic Republic Faction who had supported the human Corellian Senator Garm Bel Ilbis and the human Uyer Senator Malé-Dee who had hoped for a more local sector authonomy and opposed the Military Creation Act and the Galactic Conscription Act alongside the other changes the Galactic Republic has had during the Clone Wars. Their neutral diplomatic relations owards the Confederacy of Independent Systems had helped them win many votes and support. However while Garm Bel Ilbis declared the independence of the Seven Worlds, Malè-Dee, the Senator of Uyter, who had been a member of the Loyalist Committee and strongly opposed the Military Creation Act and the Galactic Conscription Act was also very suspicious towards Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, opposed his growing Emergency Powers over the Senate and even opposed Tarkin's idea of the Imperial Moff system later on, still remained a member of the Republic with Uyter for now. Uyter's position on the Randon Run and the Lesser Lantillian Route made the Senator and his world very important. Should he switch to Garm Bel Ilbis, Uyter and nearby Hapes could influence the other worlds on the Lesser Lantillian Route in the Mid Rim and Inner Rim to join the Commonwealth too, including Avenelle, Nazzri, Vena, Porus Vida, Ambria, Taboon, Merson, Zeltros, Drux and Onderon. Because of this the Galactic Reublic was very concerned and even had offered Uyter as a member world some lower taxes and greater internal authonomy in exchange for remaining inside the Republic. The fact that Uyer was at the very edge of Separatis controlled Space and still could favor the Commonwealth over the Republic while remaining neutral towards the Confederacy, made his faction support for the Seven Worlds and Uyters possible withdraw from the Galactic Republic that much important.
The Core World Senator of Chandrilla, Mon Mothma who had also been a part of the Loyalist Committee had opposed the production of new Clone Troopers and also the Military Creation Act and the Galactic Conscription Act, requested from Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to give up his Emergency Powers, while later also helping Supreme Chancellor Padmé Amidala start peacefull nagotiations with the Confederacy of Independent System. Her decision to stop the fighting and let diplomacy end the conflict made her popular as the Clone Wars raged on after the Battle of Coruscant and the Separatist counter-offensice in the Outer Rim. However Mon Mothma also oppowed the imperialisation inside the Republic, not only the Tarkin Coup and his Imperialist traitors. Because of this she oppsed the as she called it “militarisic” Chancellorship of Supreme Chancellor Wullf Yularen and Vice Chancellor Gail Ackbar, who she both viewed as to close to the military-industrial complex of the Republic. Because Mon Mothma wished for the Republic to return to it's liberties and laws from before the Clone Wars and reverse the militarisation that had occurred inside the Republic troughtout the Clone Wars. This was the reason Senator Mothma had been the goal of a assassination attempt douring the Tarkin Coup, makin gher even more suspicious of Militaristic and Imperialistic ambitions. While she wished for the Republic to return to their old self and even supported many of the ideas of the Commonwealth under Garm Bel Ilbis, she opposed the idea of a secession from the Galactic Republic for now, as she believed this would further encourage and legitimise the Separatist Confederacy and similar movements, splitting the Republic into small competing Systems and Sectors and thereby increasing the chances of further conflicts and suffering in the galaxy. This however was not what she had in mind, as she wished for peace, stability and prosperity in a Galactic Republic that would once again include all of the known galaxy. Even the Confederacy of Independent Systems shouls be allowed to peacefully rejoin the Republic, similar to Vader's Domain, at least under the rule that former war criminals had to be put on trial for their crimes. If Chandrilla would join the Commonwealth other Core Worlds might follow and a domino effect could start, endangerin the very heart of the Galactic Republic.
Her former running mate, the male human Alderaan Senator Bail Prestor Organa (Vice Chancellor), who shared many of the goals of Garm Bel Ilbis and the Commonwealth, supported to give more powers to local Sectors, Subsectors and Oversectors, efficiently ending the Republic centralisation, yes ouright opposing it in favor of more local democracy and sability. He believed just like Ilbis Commonwealth in a diplomatic relationship and peaceful coexistence with the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Bail Organa had also helped to nagotiate the Clone Wars Ceasefire and the Clone Wars Armistice alongside Supreme Chancellor Amidala, but unlike Mon Mothma he had some sympathy for Garm Bel Ilbis movement and even hoped to reincorporate former Separatist Systems back into the Republic or any other form of combined galactic government, to reunite the known galaxy under one peacefull and democratic government. Bail Organa believed that a peacefull reintegration was necessary to heal the wounds of the Clone Wars and that do to so local authonomy, not central core authority had to be encouraged. The Moderates and Reformist supporting him, also liked that he gave refugee for former Supreme Chancellor Padmé Amidala and her whole family on Alderaan. Bail Organa's help for the Refugee Relief Movement even helped replaced exiled from Ando and other Republic, Imperial and Separatist world, leading to a heavy attack on Alderaan by General Grievious, nearly destroing the civilisation there. All this helped cement Bail Organa as a honest, fair and just man, who'se defection to the Commonwealth with Alderan could lead to many more secession from worlds and systems of the Republic to Corellia and the Seven World's Commonwealth Movement.
As the End of the Clone Wars had made the right to secession from the Galactic Republic very legal and allowed, former Supreme Chancellor Padmé Amidala had a stressed job to nagotiate between all this factions and forces, so they would not join the Commonwealth too, as many seamed to eye with this much looser Voluntary Association/ Confederation in favor over the Galactic Republic. While Supreme Chancellor Wullf Yularen was very concerned for this and thought about using taxes, a economic embargo, or even a military show of strenght to intimidate the Commonwealth and it's Prime Minister Bel Ilbis, a move outright supported by Anakin Skywalker and other more hardlining Republicans to prevent the next Separatist Crisis right at it's start before things could turn out of hand once again, his wife Padmé Amidala and her faction hoped for a diplomatic peacefull solution in hopes to ease the tension and separatism, knowing that such a move would only help Count Dooku, his Confederacy of Independent System or the Imperialists on the long run, as it weakened the Galactic Republic. Her old friend and Naboo Senator, the male Gungan Jar Jar Binks meanwhile, together with the Gran Senator Ask Aak hoped that parts of the peace-faction, the Council of Alien-Human Relations and the Melastare Pro-Republic Exile Government could help to nagotiate a peacefull solution, maybe even reintegrate all factions into a single galactic state, or at least keep the peace between them to start such a integration later after the last tensions of war and rivalry had been gone in the future, after decades of peacefull coexistance and trade. Because of his Jar Jar hoped to find more common ground for peacefull nagotiations and coexistence , so that a future, peacefull reintegration of all former Republican worlds could be archived. However Jar Jar's split with the Revanchist Republican faction within his ranks left him weaker then before and saw Gran Senator Ask Aak form a new more radical faction alongside Anakin Skywalker and a few other influential figures, who called for harsh measures against this new Separatists. Jar Jar's own role in the passing of the Military Creation Act, the Enhanced Security and Enforcement Act as well as his mvoe tha gave the Emergency Powers to Supreme Chancellor Palpatine made him a controversial, yes sometimes hated figure inside the Galactic Republic, even if he did so unknowingly of Palpatines true goals. Like Amidala his more peacefull approach is suppored by the Old and New Jedi Order, while Senator Aak and many others were loudly outspoken against any continued Jedi influence and politics in the Galactic Republic, similar to how Mon Mothma and Bail Organa were outspoken opponents of the increasingly growing military politics and influence within the Galactic Republic.
