After talking to Ye-seul and Joshua, Savannah and Seung-chan decide to go to a café and have a proper chat.
Savannah: ‘Dad says the police are going to have another so-called “high-risk assessment” with M. Dubois. I really hope it’s all over now. Although he did mention something about therapy.’
Seung-chan: ‘I’m glad you spoke to your dad. I’ve felt so helpless the whole time.’
Savannah: ‘I’m sorry I behaved so silly. I don’t know. I just couldn’t think straight anymore.’
Seung-chan: "I think therapy is a good idea. – Sav. I need to apologise to you too. I let you down. I started questioning our relationship. Not because I don’t love you anymore, but because I wasn’t a good friend to you. That really bothers me, you know?”
Savannah: “It was all my fault, wasn’t it? Do you still love me?”
Seung-chan: “Yes, of course, Sav! You mean a lot to me. And the only ones to blame are M. Dubois – and my parents.”
Savannah: ‘What do your parents have to do with M. Dubois?’
Seung-chan: ‘Nothing at all, but that’s another story. They’re putting quite a lot of pressure on me.’
Savannah: ‘You didn’t tell me any of that, Seung-chan.’
Seung-chan: ‘I didn’t want to burden you with it as well.’
Savannah: ‘Shall we promise from now on to always be open and honest with each other and to support one another? I’d really like to help you, too.’
Seung-chan: ‘That’s sweet of you, Sav. And yes, let’s do that.’
Savannah seems to have matured a lot through the whole stalking business. Let’s see how she develops from here.
