My boy, Bai.
He is a Soom Sard. I gave him a new face up and was experimenting with the scar. I think it turned out pretty good.

Ooh, I don't usually like Sooms but he's quite nice looking. Fantastic job on the scars~

It turned out looking pretty awesome!
What sorts of medium are you using for the scar?
I find that some mediums on these dolls can create a weird bald spot on their face if you scrub too much with the magic eraser. TAT

I use Pastel, acrylic paint, water color pencil. It's important to seal all the face up work with Mr. Super Clear sealant spray. It seals the face up work so it won't rub or wash off. Magic eraser is only used for cleaning the doll or removing stain face ups. Rubbing it on the face up will remove face up work.

For the Scar I used Acrylic paint and gloss paint.

I hope this helps a little.

It certainly does help a little! I had a feeling it'd take everything off but when he arrived the scar was on his face. I didn't want the scar there so the only way to take it off was the eraser... or so I thought.
I figure... I'll just test out that make up tutorial on DOA to cover the spot up now that the scar is washed off.
