This is my first attempt to make a doll head. It's still in progress... I will be casting it into resin later. :D

did you put something inside it to sculpt?

Yes, I put acrylic eyes in there and sculpt the shape of the eyes around it...after the head is dry I cut the head cap off the head and dug the eyes out from the back. It takes lots of time and sending, cutting and mess.... I'm still working and shaping the head. I haven't had the time to just sit down and work on it... there's lots of websites/videos that will teach you to sculpt... Google is your best friend. Here's some Key words, "BJD Sculpting tutorial".

I still need to smooth out the clay before I can cast it... but since right now I don't have much time to work on it so it's sitting there for the moment being.

Let me know when you get to casting it. I am eager to swap tips and experience on casting.

Thanks!
I had been wanting to make my own for a very long time since it'll be awesome to make my own doll and characters.
I'll diffidently update my progress... Thanks for the comment.
