He gazed with such intensity,
A daunting figure clad in coal.
His armor stiff, like frozen hands,
Enthralling claws to clutch her throat
Or softly grace her blooming cheeks.
Hesitant introspection fell
On snow from which her flowers grow.
Her hair, a tangled wave of ocher
Unveiled a visage so benign,
Of blinded wishes unaware
Alluring to the starving night.
Her body lay, sweetly with snow,
A nonchalance of threats and sin,
Accompan’ing the monochrome scene

To talk to the flowers & watch them grow while birds sing in praise of her beauty.
Eating honeysuckles & pomegranates & drinking the finest wine.
He was selfish, but even so she would look at him love.

When Hades fell in love with Persephone its said that all the death and dying in the world suddenly stopped. For weeks not a single person died. That was, until Hades realized hed never be able to call the sweet maiden of flower his. She was a child of wild flowers and sunny days; running about in her joyousness and determined nature to spread joy across the world in her delicately made flowers. He was the ruler of the underworld, king to the dead. Shed never survive in the land of the dead where the flowers where wilted and colored black and the trees bore rotted fruit, and over this it is said that Hades lamented for week

"Persephone, don't get mad!" Hades rubbed his tired eyes as he sat up resentfully in the large bed he shared with his wife. It was midnight, and the King of the Underworld was not prepared to have a fight with his wife. All he wanted to do was sleep, but he'd gone and upset her.
He knew he was never going to hear the end of this.
"I am mad! I am really, really mad!" She snapped, throwing the covers away from her body and standing up, apparently to yell at him at a greater height.
"Gods, Hades, I swear that sometimes you're more insensitive than Cerberus. How could you say that about my mother?" She was distractingly tempting in her silk
