wow, I really love this!
Well, I sure love dinosaurs, but I'm also glad to see you implemented parts of newer research, about them having wings. And he still looks monstrously dangerous on your drawing, I always imagined dinosaurs with feathers to look cute and hugable. And thank you miss/mister for giving the world a better view on the Deinonychus :D

I love the detail! But this is in a museum? This doesn't remotely represent the real animal. It's as much a Deinonychus as Godzilla is a T. rex (which means not at all). If anything, this reminds me of the severely inaccurate raptors from Jurassic Park III. That's fine artistically, but this is not museum material because it's not accurate and therefore misrepresents the real animal.

This is amazing! This would make a great addition to a children's education book or one of Time Life's magazine. Amazing attention to anatomy and the scales. Great work! :D

While the artwork itself is gorgeous I don't get why you blocked comments involving criticism. They brought up legitimate issues with this piece if it is intended to be accurate. I'm sorry to say but it isn't an accurate reconstruction of Deinonychus by any means. All artists should be able to take criticism well instead of censoring it. Perhaps you should keep this in mind ([link]) next time when met with criticism.

From an artistic stand point it's great, but from a paleoart stand point there are many, many things wrong with it.

I sent personal messages to the other "artists" involved, and removed the comments because I refuse to support disdain or passive-aggressive insults. As I have stated previously, this is my interpretation of deinonychus. It is not labeled, nor have I ever stated, that it is a scientific reconstruction. It is a work of art, implementing the principals of design, balance, rhythm, color, and variety. I am quite used to criticism, and openly encourage critiques of my work. However, since neither of the afore mentioned individuals were able to offer civil advice as to the artistic advance of this piece, their comments will continue to be hidden. I appreciate your comment, and would love for you to expand upon your view of the piece from an artistic standpoint ;) . Thanks!
