I am a writer with a BA in English from Humboldt State University. At some point, hopefully soon, I wish to become a professional writer. My other goal is to be an English teacher and, though this was once my more realistic goal, it is now less likely.
My passion at the moment lies in writing superhero comics. However, it is not the only venue from which I write. Where I show my true mettle is in prose fiction. I may even put up some of it.

So, it might be my browser (Edge), my computer, or just Eclipse further breaking everything, but I can't go into deviations anymore. I click on them, but nothing happens. Granted, my cursor doesn't turn into the hand, so I should realize nothing's going to happen, but it doesn't do that on stacks either and I can still go into them by clicking them. It's probably Eclipse, though, because I was able to go places from the Deviant Universe group page, and group pages still use the old, good layout.
Anybody else having this happening?
EDIT: Just noticed: it seems to be limited to my Watch tab. But, you know, shouldn't I be able to look at the posts from the people I'm watching?
Also, there's no X to click for the stuff anymore, so I can't clear up that tab from the things I've already seen/don't have the desire to click into.
I worried what Eclipse would bring, what it would look like, and dang, this new site is so unappealing. Granted, I'm on a laptop, but I see icons failing to align themselves correctly (the envelope and bell icons are bumped up out of alignment with the text next to them, the bell actually having part of it be clipped off at the top), art now has the titles above the pieces and in what seems to be a system font, and such.
But it's not just the look. Everything's all caddy-wompus from where it used to be. Why can't the art I watch be in my normal notifications? Why does it feel like groups are an afterthought? Why does all "Web 2.0" stuff tend to look so bland, boring, and unappealing? Okay, I'm back to look.
Overall, I understand that such an interface is designed for phones. However, a great many artists need to use their desktop or laptop to do the art they do. Why couldn't it simply be that Eclipse is the default interface for mobile browsing, while the old site is the
