Inlul'calen ID by Sharpener Inlul'calen ID by Sharpener
This is Inlul'calen, one of Qu'ellar Zau Nihl'lu'szin's specialist commanders here fitted with the entire wartimearmor and weaponry . Costume made from leather, metal, fabrics, and makeup mostly.

Ignore the blue eyes, no contacts yet but they are hopefully on the way soon.

PLEASE do not try to copy this uniform as I've worked my ass of to remain unique in my drow culture. If you want tips or info on building anything else just note or mail me=)

I must say, if I ever saw you out somewhere dressed like that, I'd find a way to gravitate to you pretty quickly. Blue eyes or not.

Very nice work, & very handsome overall. Sorry for the bluntness.

Very cool costume, nice work! All the details @_@

Although I think my favorite part would have to be the hood. Can't go wrong with hoods. 8D

We shall not ignore the eyes. It brings out the gray scales. ;D I know..I know... drow are commonly born with red eyes! Violet eyes are not commonplace, but acceptable. ;D *giggle*

They're actually born with various coloured eyes ;3 The only reason they're portrayed as red is because they're usually drawn in their underground homes, and are viewing in the infra-red spectrum.

..At least D&D and D&D inspired Drow :3

I happen to roleplay a dark elf in my own online, chat-based RPG(Medieval Fantasy). I've been playing her for approximately 10 years...and she has black pearl eyes. ^_~ Don't scalp me, for 'dark elf' lore etiquette...I rather enjoy characterization more than anything else. I guess I'm a sociopath. XD

Yeah, I guess most do favor unique feats before mundane ones=) Its just that we've mainly tried to portrait the common drow, as seeing even one of those on the surface is funkin rare

I actually didn't know anything about drow when I made her. Swirling vortex eyes were great contrasts to her blue/black metallic skin. ;]

Yes...they are definitely rare. Usually off terrorizing some poor elven lass. ;( Lol

HAA.. I prefer playing elven. The general mysticism and tranquility is my general persona. ;P

Although I am enamored by drow, too! I can play both, really! People are fascinated by my drow! :) She's a sneaky wench. She could sell a bald man a comb, or trade someone's soul for just a smile. :D There's a little bit of her 'background' on my main journal.

I enjoy her, because she's a drow priestess; she instigates and digs out people's weaknesses--their sins-- encourages them to play on those sins, only to be vindicated when she exposes them, or has them killed for that sin alone.

Start out wiuth regular pen and paper and draw and scissor out shapes and try staple different shapes toghether based on your /the person who will be wearing its face=) Leather can be moulded in more ways than paper so that is something to bare in mind when scetching=)

lol, well its hard to ignor the blue eyes, their beautiful. :) but drow red is stunning if thats lol.

The armor is gorgeous, the detail work is amazing through out the whole thing. I wish i had the time or skill to do something this elaborate or beautiful. The level of craftsmanship in the armor is truly applaud worthy.

How long did it take you to make the set?
