As you might have noticed, recently quite a few changes were made in this Group.
These changes were made out of necessity, and to make things a bit easier for you and for us.
I wanted to wait to see if they were working before making them official. Now that it seems that everything is running smoothly, I'd like to officially share them with you.
There have been two main changes:
+ Simplification/Reduction of the Folders
+ We are no longer commenting on declined submissions to inform you that they were declined
+ The 'Human' and 'Non-Human Humanoids' folders have been joined together
+ The 'Canine and Feline' and 'Other Existing Animals' folders have been joined together
+ The 'Mystery Adopts' and 'Free/DTA' folders have been removed. Any mystery or free adopts must now be submitted to the folder that matches their subject
+ The 'YCH' folder has been removed. YCH's must now be submitted to the folder for Journals and Commission Info
+ 'Resales' must now also be submitted to the folder for Journals and Commission Info. They will not be accepted into 'Mixed Sheet's or 'Reduced Price'.
The reasons for combining/removing folders was because either the difference between them was confusing, or because certain folders were very small and hardly used.
Having less folders should make submitting easier, and it seems to have worked: We have a lot fewer cases of people submitting to the wrong folder.
This is a change I'd been putting off for a very long time, but was very much necessary....
When this group was still small, we commented on every single declined deviation. However, taking into account the current size of the group, the activeness of our members (we easily get over 150 submissions a week), this has become far too time-consuming. We'd rather ensure that we are actually able to process all submissions within reasonable time
So the new rule is:
We do not comment on declined submissions. However, you are always welcome to inquire about why it was declined.
If you want to inquire about a declined submissions, please inquire on the Submission Correspondence Message, NOT in the Group Messages or Notes!
Thank you for reading <3
I hope you appreciate the changes we've made. I understand that especially the second one is not ideal, but I hope that you will understand the reasoning behind it.
My main intention is always to make this group has active and accessible as possible for everyone
Take care and keep creating!
