Ronja was padding down the streets of Brillia. They were a lot less crowded now that dark was approaching. Still, they were more populated than the familiar roads of her hometown of Kald. While she was walking, she heard the cheerful laughs of cubs and the sound of splashing water. Intrigued, Ronny chose to seek out the noises. They could do with a nice relaxing evening by the pool. They turned down a sidestreet and kept going until she reached a wooden gate. Pushing it open with her paws, she stepped onto the sandy soil that surrounded the pool. Cubs splashed and played, jumped off diving boards, and she even noticed a few playing nose-ball. The water glimmering in the dying light. Ronja saw Nirs lounging on chairs, cold drinks sitting on the small tables next to them. They wondered where the drinks came from and took another glance around the area. Having arrived in Brillia several days before, Ronja spent that time recuperating from her long voyage at an inn near the palace. She wouldn’t have to deal with any merchant duties for a while yet and wanted to enjoy the festivities being held in King Meothion’s name. They were done lazing about in her rented room and decided she would tour the famed building that brought her here. Ronny quickly readied themselves and headed out into the cobbled streets. The roads were absolutely flooded with other visiting Niravar and carts heading this way and that. Vendors were lined up and down along the sides of the thoroughfare selling bits and bobs, clothing, and delicious smelling food that made Ronja’s mouth water. She shook her head to clear it and focus on the task at paw. They glanced up towards the clocktower and noted the time.
