“Mom can we go and play now?” Zarif barked out excitedly as he woke up from his nap.
Lekua raised her head and looked at her son whose tan colored fur almost blended in with her slightly darker tanned fur. She couldn’t help but feel a wave of happiness as she took in her son’s enthusiasm to head out into the world and take it by storm.
“Really? Really Zarif?” Taneera grumbled as she was woken up by her brother’s boisterous barks. “Could you keep it down? A lady needs her beauty sleep!”
