Finally another entry for my "Coast to Coast" series... Indiana.

Whenever I think of Indiana, racing is always the first thing that pops into my head. I sort of grew up with the Indy 500...
my Grandparents and Aunt & Uncle worked the track every year, along with many other CART/ Formula One races.
I used to help out as a tween, timing cars at a small track in Michigan.

Sadly the Indy 500 is yet to be won by a Woman... but it'll happen!

Indiana - Race Car Driver
State Flower - Peonies
State Bird - Cardinal

Snazztastic...!

If pop culture has any say, then Indiana is also seemingly _the_ premiere basketball-loving state. ^^

Love that color reflection in the trophy. <3

HOOSIERS!! LOL!

Funny bit of useless Mid-West trivia... Indiana people call themselves Hoosiers as a positive,
but people in Missouri use it as a derogatory term... like Hillbilly/Redneck. :slow:

That color reflection was a last minute add... glad to know it was a good call!

It sounds awfully close to hosers, which Canadians embrace (even while us Yanks use it against them). ^^

...pff, and 'Yanks' is another one that elicits a checkered reaction.
