With this piece, I wanted to explore how an image can sometimes feel more NSFW than crude pornography while actually showing far less. Emotion, expression and attitude often matter more than explicit anatomy. Obscenity does not lie only in what is shown, but also in the way it is suggested, embodied and perceived.
It is a true interplay between content and form, between the subject of an image and what it makes the viewer feel.
This approach is at the heart of my new Concepts and Emotions gallery, where each work explores a single word through an image and its definition.
