The Firmament Hypothesis and the Recent UAP Files
The following paper presents a speculative cosmological framework intended to reconcile several persistent mythological, historical, and modern anomalous observations into a unified interpretive model. While the model is not proposed as established scientific fact, it serves as an exercise in theoretical synthesis by examining ancient cosmology, modern space exploration, unidentified aerial phenomena, and recent astronomical events through a single explanatory lens.
The prevailing scientific understanding correctly identifies Earth as a spherical planetary body. However, this paper proposes that ancient civilizations may have been partially correct in their conception of a surrounding “firmament,” not as a flat Earth canopy over a planar world, but rather as a literal enclosing structure surrounding the Earth Moon system.
