My Bio
FIRST THING FIRST - If you add one of my works to your favorites, thanks. However can you please leave a comment, just to touch base. I really appreciate your opinion and it helps with the ego and the motivation.....

anyway.....

As a Designer and Artist, Brendan’s work has primarily been DVD Cover & Poster Art and web page design and includes titles such as PORKY’S REVENGE, THE TRINITY COLLECTION and THE FASTEST GUN. His design work has also been featured
in company logos such as EXPOSE PROFESSIONAL MAKE-UP ARTISTRY, ELOUERA DAY SPA and DVD MOVIE HOUSE.

An Exhibition of around 30 of his artworks were featured in a limited Newcastle University Exhibition on campus with other Art Students back in 1999 in which he received positive reviews from both his peers and heads of faculty.

As a filmmaker, Brendan will be the first to admit he’s still got a lot to learn, but loves the idea of telling a story. He has so far produced, written and directed over 10 short films and has written 3 feature film screenplays. He has written articles for printed publications as well as the internet. His regular online blogs and articles as seen on www.myspace.com and www.wordpress.com have a growing number of subscribers and regular readers and continue to influence others through commentaries and forums.

In 2007 his writing had taken preference over everything else and in that year he took on his biggest endeavour to date by deciding to release his first printed book, entitled Interpreted Wisdom: Collected Writings 2006 – 2007. The book featured a collection
of blogs and other short writings on various subjects over a 12 month period.

He has sinced pursured his writing career by way of working on his first novel while still focusing on his photography and web design.

wow, thanks for doing this.

I have to admit, the light source is something I haven't paid too much attention to with my work, and I should. Don't get me wrong, I have been known to consider where the light is coming from when it's so obvious and something stands out like a sore thumb, like someone sitting around a campfire etc and it's obvious that glows and shadows need to be sorted out to "sell" the shot.

Thank you for your honest review and critique. I really do appreciate it.
Looking Glass Tea Party - Faestock's CC Entry
Thanks Joeyseti for taking the time back for your critique.
I really like how you saw so much into this image. I will admit that what you have interpreted isn't that far off and make sense. However to be honest a lot of things I wanted to do with the image I was stuck with what stock I had access to. Hebrew wording is something I did actually look into and I could no find a thing...The ghostly image is supposed to be a soul, but I like your interpretation also.
I welcome you to go to town on any other of my work, I really love your thoughts.. If there is an image you like to critique and it doesn't have the option, please let me know and i'll change the settings.

Thank you once again...
that my friend, is an understatement.... I have to rely on stock images and photoshop tweaking lately because work has taking up most of my spare time and I haven't had a chance to do any photography.
The Wizard and The Beast
Wow. thank you for so many things...
This is my first official critique.
I really appreciate your feedback and it's truly welcomed.

I am one to cover things up, the trick is not to let anyone notice and push the whole illusion thing (smile). However the "snow" is supposed to be sprays from the ocean and to give the feel of 3d as if it's coming right at us...
I agree that the wizard looks a bit out of place and would have loved a little bit more drama there...
As you would no doubt appreciate, that after this image was done with, I was already picking faults with it myself, but alas, but decided that this image was done, however I took these faults and became mindful of them for future work, just as I will with your great ideas and suggestions.

Thank you once again, feel free to look at other works... As I love the honest and constructive feedback.
The Wizard and The Beast
Thank you very much, keep up the good work.
