The Marchioness of Lavington in Colour

By Shakoriel
Lady's Evening Dress circa 1810 - now in colour!

A Regency matron--in magnificent full dress with a trained overskirt of mousselaine de soie over a lutestring bodice and skirt--is ready for a special evening occasion. Her gown has a dramatic wired standing collar of tiffany which rises to meet her glace silk turban. Her ostrich plumes are attached to her turban with a fine gemstone; it matches her substantial necklace and the inserts on the vertical band decorating her overskirt.

The line drawing [link] is part of my Regency Fashions colouring book, which you can find here: [link]

Beautiful shading technique here, you've captured the folds and creases of the fabric perfectly! :)
