Description
So, last week, my orchestra director from high school sent me an e-mail asking if I wanted to paint a cello that was beyond repair for the yearly dinner auction the music program does as a fund raiser. I decided to do it, and when I went to pick up the instrument, she also handed me a beat up violin.
I don't know why I painted it like this, but I really like it
Obviously, I was trying to go for the feel of an ink painting on parchment. It's a little hard to see the colors, because I took the picture with my iphone. It looks better in real life >.> tee hee

It's so sad that it's falling apart! I've hear of violins being painted and still playing well, so if this still played, you'd be able to do all sorts of things.
