So, apparently Deviant Art is moving to their new format in May. 

I guess I'm going to have to get used to it BY FORCE now.  

The pages default to Eclipse.  I tried Eclipse.  I DON'T LIKE Eclipse!  I keep turning it back to default because I don't like the new format.  

I hate being forced into things I don't like.  Apparently, DA doesn't care about leaving the option open for us old farts.  They think it's an improvement, but I honestly find stuff on Eclipse more difficult to find and organize.  I hate to sound like an old fuddy-duddy slow-to-adapt person, but... yeah?  When I get used to something, I don't like change.  

Now with the Eclipse features, I need to use those, clean up my folders and do some proper presentation... 

One problem:  I have a huge backlog and I am incredibly lazy.  

Also, I'd be most likely to do it after October because I'm doing (L)inktober.  I'm concentrating on that and I might make a new folder just for those things (since I've done it a previous year and have a load of the Zelda fanart now because of it).  

As it is, I'm still mostly using the site on the old settings because they are what I am most accustomed to.  

So, I'm looking in on the Eclipse thinger... and it looks nice.  I put up a cover-image.  I'm going to have to fiddle around with it to figure it out more... 

Where's the button for submitting art and journals on it?  I accidentally clicked away from the intro video and figured that I learn by doing better, but... shouldn't the submit art button be rather prominent? Where did it go?  By the way, I'm writing this journal entry on the old site format.  I switched back so I could do it.  

Please don't tell me that they're going to auto-switch the whole site!  I'm going to need a lot of time to figure anything out!  

SOME OF US ARE OLD, OKAY?! 

We are having an emergency situation in regards to having a basic get-to-work vehicle right now due to an accident. If the situation is not rectified, it may result in my household being jobless and homeless.  There is a Go Fund Me here:

That said, I am also willing to sell artwork - any on here that isn't damaged, already sold, made for clients or special-purpose.  I am willing to negotiate prices - just PM me for my email.  (I don't think DA allows open posting of email addresses).  

For instance, this piece,  the Desert Horse, has always been one I've been loathe to part with, because it's a personal showpiece.  I would be willing to part with it for $5,000 (plus shipping costs), as that would be enough to cover half of our emergency-fund goal.  Similarly, I would also part with the Pink Pelvis -   although I may need to restring the dangles on it as the first set of feathers got damaged and I'm not sure if the second set I strung it with is okay for selling (game bird).  I do have some nice horse-hair I can restring the dangles with that should look nice.  

I have various other artworks at different prices.  My paper pieces, my paintings... I sold one of my scratchboard pieces on here for $125 for help in covering a different emergency.  

As for my bone pieces, I'd prefer to sell the ones from domestic-animal sources as in researching the local wildlife laws, I've found them confusing and do not want to risk either of us by selling something I'm technically not supposed to out of ignorance.  That said, I have many domestic cattle derived pieces, several things made from parts of this ONE POOR HORSE (found in a wash) a couple of goats, and a pretty nice pig jaw.  

Willing to do commissions, original works and fanart (for fandoms that I know).  Would rather do traditional media for that if I'm going to sell you something so you wind up with something tangible in your hands because I'm old fashioned that way. I like my clients to be able to smell the paint, unless you want a digital logo or business card design, or other graphic design, as I can do that, as well.
