Where to begin...Where to begin...That is forever the question. You see, with every telling, a story changes; it shifts, becoming more and more skewed...twisted...That is the way stories have always been. Skewed to benefit the reader & twisted to serve the writer.
So why am I telling you this, you ask? Always a valid question...Always. And I may yet answer it, when the time comes. ...Or I may not.

This is the 1st chapter of a novella I'm working on. I didn't think that I'd even get this far, as the story's been sitting, collecting dust for quite awhile. So, I'm gonna post this, to bring some accountability to getting the rest of it done. So, there ya go. Btw, the reason this is labeled "transgressive" is because of the full scope of the novella, and, thus, not all of them will address things the same, but, as a whole, they are tranggressive. Thanks for your patience.

Short but I like it, however short. Can't wait to read more
