Hot. Moist. Sweat. It gushed off him while he twisted and turned under the sheets, barely awake and still under the spell of a teasing dream. A soft sound, in between a growl and a moan, managed to escape Shadow’s lips, even with his mouth as dry as a desert. His eyes were half-lidded, continuously blinking at a rapid speed. His sub-conscious mind started registering the stimulus of the cold on one of his legs that peeked out under the blanket.
