Gridget, Grimyth, Necreaper

Update: Seeing as how this is one of my favorite Fakémon ideas, I decided to give it a touch up too! And with a better shiny palette. At least, I think it's better... and more fitting D;

hooray for Fakémon and BOREDOM.

Here I have Ghost types based on the Grim Reaper, so... here ya go.

GRIDGET

Name origin: Grim + midget

POKéDEX ENTRIES

Gridget are often seen playing around in cemeteries, quietly pranking visitors or trespassers. It rarely means any harm, however its scythe can leave a lingering sting with one slice.

This Pokémon loves to spook other Pokémon and humans by slicing down objects and have them land near or in front of others. It makes a good look-out for Trainers during the night because its pranks can startle most anything away.

An extremely playful Pokémon, Gridget are unaware of the consequences of their actions. Anytime they play around or
pull their pranks, they don't consider the harm they may cause. They're oblivious to the concept of death.

GRIMYTH

Name origin: Grim + scythe (or from myth)

POKéDEX ENTRIES

The flap that's buttoned over Grimyth's face actually contains a seal that must be firmly in place to maintain its behavior. If undone, Grimyth will begin to act very erratically including swinging its scythe tail around and screeching sharply.

Humans fear the bug-eyed glowing look underneath this Pokémon's hood. If one were to look at it in the eyes, Grimyth will twitch and give chase until the pursued reaches a light source, where Grimyth will shriek and disappear.

After evolving and realizing the chilling truth of their destiny, these Pokémon are extremely paranoid and fearful of their very being. Only those with the strongest will to live make it to evolution. Thus, Grimyth are rarely seen in the wild.

NECREAPER

Name Origin: Necros (dead in Latin) + reaper

POKéDEX ENTRIES

Although at first glance it appears to be an evil being, Necreaper is actually mild and only intends to do its job; ending the life of dying creatures. It will usually only kill if Necreaper detects fading life force that can't recover.

Nothing angers Necreaper more than disrupting its duty. If it's distracted from its job and the dying/dead creature's taken away, Necreaper will track down and curse the thief in a rage, ranging from a pulsing headache to destroying all their senses.

Its scythe blade has the power to steal the life force of any living Pokémon. A gash from its blade will make anything feel extremely drained. Those who have the misfortune of bearing Necreaper's grudge will often suffer dementia involving this Pokémon.
