Hello! Long time no see!
It has been a while since I've been on this site, but a lot of great things have happened outside of it since my hiatus. Despite my return to the site, I may not be able to draw as often as I used to back then since I now have a part-time job.
The not so good news...
Despite finishing off my semester last year, I didn't do well as I thought despite my strong start at the beginning. I've had a hard time making friends at my college and because of that, I struggled on my homework and in class assignments. Asking for help was a big pain in the ass, especially in my Graphic Design class since no one seemed to give a damn with what's going on. What's even worse is that my professor didn't even do shit to help me out, which pissed me off so much. I was afraid to ask for help because of what happened in that class.
To add insult to injury, a friend of mine, who I used to hang out with since my first year of college, apparently blocked me on Snapchat and removed me from her Nintendo Switch friends list. I'm still curious to know why she did that, but that also signified to me that she had no interest in being my friend anymore, which also made me upset. As of right now, we're no longer talking to each other and I have removed her from all of my social media platforms. I'm still mad at her to this day, and I'm never going to forgive her for pushing me off to the side like that.
The good news!
As mentioned above, I now have a job at VONS. I love my job and I enjoy it a lot more than school. I've made more friends at work than at school and I was able to connect with them than the friends that I've had back in college. I'm now making my own money, but I'm not telling anyone where my money goes. However, there IS one thing that I'm saving up for. I'm saving my money for an iPad Pro since the battery life on my iPad Air 2 sucks right now. And drawing on my iPad with a touchscreen stylus is a pain in the ass. I want to be able to draw smoothly without any problems.
Speaking of drawing, I might be able to still draw when I'm not working, but I may want to do it traditionally for now until I am able to get the second generation iPad Pro sometime in April. Like I said before, I may not post new art too often due to my schedule. When I'm not busy, I'll do my best to post one for you guys.
What have I been doing while I was gone?
I took a trip to Vietnam and Singapore during my Winter Break to spend time with my mom's family, who currently resides in the former, while doing some sightseeing at the latter. Due to my obsession with Japanese rhythm games, I've also been looking for game centers in Singapore to play those games at. Surprise, there weren't that many over there anyways since Singapore's not really into the arcade scene like Japan is. Either way, I've enjoyed my time in both countries and hope to visit these places again some time in the future.

What games have I been playing?
Also, I've been playing Fire Emblem Awakening a couple of week ago and I'm enjoying the game so far! I enjoy playing all of the Fire Emblem characters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, especially Roy, and that's mainly the reason why I got into Fire Emblem in the first place.
Chrom's embarrassed face is literally the funniest thing that I have ever seen in any Fire Emblem game.
Am I still playing Japanese Rhythm Games?
beatmania IIDX 26 Rootage at Round1 Bowling and Amusement MPM
Despite getting into Fire Emblem, I'm still an active Japanese rhythm game player. Currently, my favorite game is beatmania IIDX 26 Rootage, which is actually at my #1 spot in my favorite video games list. Yeah, I still suck at it, but I'm currently trying out new techniques to get better at the game. I might be able to try some hyper charts once I'm able to get the hand of it.
While I'm on the topic of rhythm games, I am excited for upcoming release DanceDanceRevolution A20 (pronounced Ace-two-oh), which was announced at the 8th Konami Arcade Championship the 2019 Japan Amusement Expo. I can't wait to see what DDR A20 has to offer when it comes out. Hopefully, Round1 USA and Dave and Buster's can get it when the upgrade kits come out for older DDR cabinets. DDR A20 is scheduled to be released in Japan sometime in March 2019 only for new cabinets.
Apparently, I wasn't aware of the fact that SOUND VOLTEX VIVID WAVE came out today for Japanese arcade. I'm assuming that Round1 USA updated their cabinets as well. Anyways, the game looks amazing! The inference of the menus looks so much nicer than it did in IV HEAVENLY HAVEN. In fact, I really want to play the game when I have the chance. Hopefully, I can when I'm able to go back to Round1 sometime this year.
What are you doing for your one-year anniversary on DeviantArt?
I'm thinking about doing one-year anniversary versions of my OCs, as well as a one-year anniversary banner for my profile, but I still haven't decided on how I'm going to do this. I'm also thinking about including other OCs along as well, but I don't know how I'm going to pull that off. Let me know if you want you OC to be included in the one-year anniversary banner. I'll be sure to give you credit if I use your character in the banner.
