On October 13 1718 a baby boy was born to a poor, farmer woman. His name was Retter and due to his appearance, his mother feared that Retter would be shunned by the others. Retter was a very pale boy with obsidian black hair and eyes as red as blood. He spent his early years away from society, living on the farm with his mother as his only source of human communication.
