Young Sky Blitz//Amber Fang - ORIGIN: Zeus

Odd to see Sky without her highlights and default "I'm superior than you" look, isn't it? xD

For the longest time I've been noodling over two separate stories for her, her ORIGIN story and a different Tales of Old and New chapter, but I've been thinking that I might actually just merge the two. What brought this idea was the character creation of "Amber Fang," who appears in Sky's TO+N chapter. She's Sky's senior and guide through the former's training as a novice knight. Laid back to a fault, Amber only seems to take her duties seriously when there's an object of interest in mind.

I initially drew Amber without the intention of including Sky (or of only doing a half sketch to show her off in red) but when I conceived Amber I had a girl with colored highlights in mind for some reason. Because Sky's blue highlights are what makes her iconic (including her blue armor and lightning tattoo), I thought it would be interesting if Amber was the person who inspired this trait in Sky. And basically, since I was lazy Sky's pose was more done out of convenience, but I think I actually want it to canonically portray her personality before she became a  Guardian Knight (they're the elitists that primarily take care of things related to demons or higher classified work.)

Sky's overall backstory is still in progress, but I do hope to complete it, if nothing else, before the end of my summer break.
