This one was based off of two very different sketches I did (the group of deer, the big deer). I sometimes go in with an idea, sometimes I just muck about. The colors were very mucking about (3rd attempt, the other was way too bold). But I wanted an entrance, an exit, and a way through for the main idea :)
I love work where faces or especially creatures are near hidden in the background. I know there's not many in this one, but the way you've done this artwork is nonethless compelling for its beauty and I also don't think I've seen much like it, meaning it feels pretty unique too. Lovely touch with the flow of colours framing also the flow of a waterfall.
Very well done!
I've done it before where the stones have faces, but it's been quite some time. This one was more based off of all the little weird paths and doorways I see when not quite looking when in the woods.
