Where The Path Leads

Badge Awards

Here, the creatures remain hidden save for a glimpse of what dwells just beyond the last curve of the path. We dare not enter these places in case our desire to return fades beyond reach.

Thank you :DIt was kind of fun to paint, pulling out little bits here and there and seeing what the shapes do

I like that! Do you plan your pieces or just go with the flow? I find usually I have a general idea of what I want to do, and then half way through something else takes over

This one was based off of two very different sketches I did (the group of deer, the big deer). I sometimes go in with an idea, sometimes I just muck about. The colors were very mucking about (3rd attempt, the other was way too bold). But I wanted an entrance, an exit, and a way through for the main idea :)

this art makes me feel so calm i love this.

Nice colours and mood.

I love work where faces or especially creatures are near hidden in the background. I know there's not many in this one, but the way you've done this artwork is nonethless compelling for its beauty and I also don't think I've seen much like it, meaning it feels pretty unique too. Lovely touch with the flow of colours framing also the flow of a waterfall.

Very well done!

I've done it before where the stones have faces, but it's been quite some time. This one was more based off of all the little weird paths and doorways I see when not quite looking when in the woods.

The ancients had good reasons for forbidding such places.

Wonder if it's like magic mirrors. Where you walk in, and then you walk in, then you walk in...

And when you turn around to go back it's not there anymore.

I read recently several of Ursula Vernon's not-for-children stories. She can warp your mind.

Yeah, I keep meaning to start picking them up! Been following her since livejournal days
