I did a crafts show this weekend and I met an old couple who had been wire wrapping for as long as I've been breathing. Well, I got some advice from the woman(the husband cuts and shapes polishes etc the stones and she wraps them)about what wire to use and what to charge, she said my prices are too low. She also said I should use half-round wire because it stays put on the wire its wrapped to. I got some great deals on slabs he happened to bring to make their display look more natural I got 7 slabs of various stones for only $10! That's a lot of work ahead of me. I can turn that $10 into well over $100 quite easily, probably approaching $200! He also gave me a couple of quartz points, which I actually didn't have yet. I've been on an exotic mineral/crystal hunt, and I considered quartz 'regular' even though it's a very beautiful mineral.

I made $93 in sales but after supplies(slabs and I went to hobby lobby and got some crimp and regular pliers and a bunch of leather cord), I made it home with almost $40. I still need to get more wire and other things too.
