Brown Snake by shadowfire-x Brown Snake by shadowfire-x
A fiesty brown snake (Storeria dekayi) I removed as a pest from someone's yard. He's happily out in the countryside now, safe from people. That's a nickel, by the way XD And, the biggest brown snake I've ever seen!

How do you make them not bite you XD?
I am glad you returned it to the wild though. People here would just kill em dead.. x-x
I mean in general. Bad thing = kill.
Be it bats, sadly dogs T.T (I recently discovered the dog catchers shoot dogs instead of catching them.. that's so o-o ow...) or whatever else it may be x-x

even if it would bite..these snakes are not even as scary as baby-mice...they eat earthworms and tiny slugs

Well, in truth, none of these animals are "bad"... Good and Evil are terms that can really only be applied to humans. Animals are just doing what they need to survive. To be honest, I have been bitten by a couple snakes.. but... I don't get mad at the snake.. X3

Oh wow, he doesn't look as small as he really is o.o I'm glad you put that nickel there.

His black-tipped tongue is really cute x3
The pattern of his scales is really nice, too.

They're just little buggers, aren't they? ^^ I wish I saw more snakes, too. Maybe when it gets warmer I can. I remember one year that there were HUGE garder snakes all over the place. It's awesome that you got the pic with the tongue sticking out! XD Great texture on the scales, too. ^^ I like closeup shots.

Oh, he's absolutely gorgeous. What a pretty black-tipped tongue! Nice shot. You're so lucky to keep finding snakes. D: I haven't seen any. So far my roommate's just found a baby painted turtle...
