I'm busy this week being the end of the spring semester but I took up the challenge because it's important for people to stay hopeful and realize that this won't last forever. Please remember though that if we are not patient, there will be a second wave of COVID-19, or even more. The second wave of the Spanish Flu in the early part of last century killed more people than died during WW 1. What was lacking was modern medicine but especially quarantine. Let's not repeat that history, because this disease is more deadly, especially to those of us that have underlying medical conditions. Even if you do not fear it yourself, please show love to your parents, grandparents and the rest of us by not spreading the disease.
Stay the course for the health of those you love. I will probably be staying home a lot this summer because the college where I teach is remaining online only teaching throughout the summer.
I love you all and I don't want to lose any of you to this terrible disease. I wish you all safety and good health

I need to hear this now more often then I used to because as each day goes by we get more impatient and feel the terrible stress of daily life these days. It is hard to remain hopeful during these difficult times so even a few positive words can help so thank you for that my friend. I love the fractal art. Dear Melissa, you know what I mean. I miss my granddaughter so much, and her other family doesn't even seem to be allowing us to talk to her on the phone, for reasons I don't know. I'm not the most social person to begin with, but I'm getting stir crazy and I'm not sleeping well just because I'm not active enough. I think I was talking to myself as much as any other. I have read to many things about people who have had this that I'm ready to stay in until there is a vaccine if I have to. Take care of yourself and hang in there. God bless you back. At least my church has live stream services and drive-through meals for members so at least we are staying connected with our spiritual family. Thanks for being such a good friend
I am sorry to hear that but I do not understand why they would not allow you to speak to her over the phone. What harm could that possibly do? It does not make a lot of sense to me. I too do not socialize much either. I know what you mean it can get very scary to think about this horrible virus that is upon us. The worse thing that ever happened in the entire world. I am glad that you are finding comfort in your friends at the church though. We are all going through a very bad time. Let's continue to pray to the Lord that he will restore our lives again. He has all the power. You take care of yourself.
