Hello everyone
I'm a zoologist who works on marine mammals, I've just got my PhD in seal behaviour, endocrinology and neurobiology and now I work with dolphins as well as seals. I love wildlife and I hope to spend the rest of my life in the field studying animals just like I am now.
I learnt photography out of nessecity for my job and have taken it up as a hobby because its fun.

I appreciate it and all the points you make are good ones.
However, this is a picture of a captive bird, not a wild one (I say in the notes under the photo that it was taken at stonham barns, a display and breeding center where I currently take all my bird of prey photos) so that is why the backround looks so 'unwild'!
If you want to edit the crit based on this then I won't hold it against you
