Here's a video showing the full workflow making this image: www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQ6NRg…

I’ve been working on this image for a while, and now it’s done! It’s a design concept and character portrait for a Space Opera graphic novel I’ll be developing in the near future called THE ALL SAGA or TALES OF ALLSTAR – the name is pending. It’s currently on hold as I work on some other projects, but rest assured you’ll hear more about it in the future and when I get back to it, I’ll be making posters like this for each of the main characters. This poster is of the main character Traygen Altar.
This was heaps of fun to make and was mainly to explore the design aesthetic for the setting, medieval sci-fi. There are lots of very important world building elements in the image. Like the omni sword he is holding, his exoskeleton, the shield belt and energy shield it is generating, and his atmospheric cloak. The tower in the background is an Interstellar hub relay, which ends up being very important to the plot of the story.

And once again I am blown away by what you can make with Ai tools. As a writer, worldbuilder and creative, being able to depict my worlds, characters and stories to such incredible detail is a true gift, AND THESE AI TOOLS ARE AVAILABLE FOR FREE!! They are literally the most powerful artistic tools mankind has ever made and they are available for free to everyone who wants to use them. Nothing this powerful or like this has ever been given to all people for free and I don’t think enough people understand how incredible that is. What an amazing gift and blessing.

I wonder when AI art will get lighting, perspective and anatomy right. It can't be that far off though, but the problems are quite apparent here (his left leg almost grows out of his groin). Just imagine the ass cheeks. Also, this looks like it's 4 images thrown together as there seem to be 4 art styles that clash with each other.

The sword doesn't match the character, the hand doesn't really grab the hilt, the shadows are all over the place while the blade also looks weirdly dull. The shield as well as the background also seem as if they were made seperately. It does look edited though to try and match things, fingers and symmetry is better than on most AI images, so thats definitely a plus. I wonder if the cape is the typical asymetrical AI glitch though, as one part pointy edge, while the other is flat at the bottom. As it's been edited, this is probably just an oversight, like the scale issues in the background. (The roads, bushes, windows, their scale os all over the place).

I do like the fact that AI allows for quick imagery and artistic expression though and it seems as if this image is edited heavily, which is a good sign. Would much prefer to see a real image though. Keep it up.
