"Hmph... I was hoping you girls would show up" Madelyn said, sliding her backpack off of her shoulders. The girl in pink standing in front of her raised a brow.

"Oh yeah? So what, you were expecting us or something?" she replied.

"I guess in a way, you could say that. Yes." Madelyn said, holding her backpack by a strap in one hand. Then without warning, she hurled it at the girl behind her. "Think fast!"

"Hmph!" the Pearl Soldier with the braid grunted confidently, catching the backpack quickly. "I knew you'd do that!"

At the same time, Madelyn had whipped around with a roundhouse kick, the heel of her boot smashing the blonde girl on her other side in the cheek...

...or at least that's what she HOPED would have happened, as the blonde was much too fast for Madelyn and ducked below her, striking her crotch with a powerful punch!

"Hgk!!" Madelyn gasped as she was struck in her most vital spot... how the hell did that even happen?! How could she have known that Maddie was about to kick her? She reacted so fast...

This was going to be tougher than she thought!
