Hi my friend!! Hoping this note finds you and your mother doing well. I ran across this edit on Instagram and since it's your work, I thought you needed to see it. It's well done but I doubt she asked permission.
Tell me what you think.
Hi Dotti! We are doing okay and staying safe, thank you for asking. ^^ I tried to go to the link, but it didn't work. So, I don't know if the person already deleted the edit, or whether I just can't see the account. I made an Instagram account a long while ago, but I've never actually used it and only occasionally go there to look at other people's pics. As you can probably imagine, I'm not overly familiar with it.
Thank you for letting me know about it.
I know I am super late with my reply... I read my comments and then lose track of them because I rarely reply back to them at the time.
Thank you so much! It really made me happy when I read your comment before and again this time. Also, I believe you also mentioned my comment and recommended elsewhere on the website. Thank you for that, too!
The programs I use are both Easy Paint Tool SAI and Adobe Photoshop CS5. Pretty much all of the drawing is done in SAI, but I'll use Photoshop for arranging everything, adding effects and the dialogue. I don't know what tips would be useful, I'm learning as I go along, he he he. However, all I've done is just write the story in a way that I most enjoy while also remembering to double-check (and triple-check) that the characters are as close to their core personalities as possible. I end up rewriting quite a few times before I'm satisfied because I don't want to fall into the trap of having them do exactly what I want or would do. I want to stay true to original and be believable. The characters are always the most important thing for me as they drive the story. Or at least that's how I feel. And I don't know that that is really a tip, but I hope that something in there might be helpful to you. ^_^
