WIP Wasteland AS VAL
Using mostly scrap metal and parts.  The shroud for the faux suppressor is the new metal, the rest is shop drops, s new-ish...

Magazine is busted, and will be further rendered non-functional by the removal of the feed lips, follower and spring.

Being made for sale at Uranium Springs and/or Wasteland Weekend.

No, it's not functional, but it'll look AWESOME!
Wow.  SO much going on...

Doing a real job (kinda~) making really COOL stuff.

Getting going on a full shop tool re-build.  Forge, tempering tanks, new grinder, refurbishing the old grinder, new wood-cutting bandsaw, lots of new bits and bobs like welding helmets, etc.

Getting rolling on wasteland stuff after I get a good start on the shop fixes.

So yeah...

All of this brought to you by spending WAY less time on social media, specifically Facebook.

I do plan to do updates here as I start making cool stuff again, and apologize to my following friends for my lack of updates.  I will try to do better!

Hi there- I'm Robert, a jack-of-all-trades. I've been making items for about 30 years, from almost everything and anything. At first it was mostly models and cloth items, but eventually I moved into wood and steel.

Now, as my passion(s) include history and in particular- the periods of the late medieval, renaissance, and then the 1900's to about 1945, I've had to learn how to do lots of different things.

Currently, I make items in steel, cloth, wood and leather for reenactors. Mostly it falls into knives and water bottles and pouches, but I'm always doing something new and interesting!

Take a look- and let me know if you want me to make something for you!

Personal Quote: Oh dear...
So- to any who are following me, I apologize for not posting anything for some time.

I have like... a REAL excuse.  Honest!

I have had some issues with my right arm- the shoulder and elbow, in particular.  As it turns out, I am now in physical therapy for massive swelling of my rotator cuff, and possibly a tiny tear there as well.  After a few weeks of therapy- I have my full range of motion back, but am still slightly achy- although most of the more annoying pain is now in my elbow.

I hope to get into the shop to MAKE stuff soon- I've been working on throwing away a regulation butt-ton of old stuff, clearing space so the garage can be used for a new project over this winter- the building of a tube-frame dune buggy.

I will also be making several knives and the like in the next little bit, as well as some more of that crazy Wasteland stuff.

Bestens!  And have a great Holiday season!

Hello question for you... do you take orders and if so, how much for an ithilen ranger quiver and can I request a length for the quiver?
sgainbrachta Featured By Owner Apr 16, 2015
Umm...  Yes...

I'd have to dig out the list of materials and all to give a price, which would be based on the specific materials you wanted, of course.  And sure- if it's a custom order, then a specific size would be fairly easy to make.  The inner bag needs to be sized to fit the arrows, in any case~

Also- the screen-correct ones are somewhat smaller, as each hold only about a dozen arrows, The pictured one holds about 2 dozen, with an overall length of about 30-31" arrows.

The only custom part about it for me would be the size.  Materials wise you can use the ones you used for your quiver.  My arrows are 30" in length so the bag would need to fit that.  Just please let me know if this is possible and when you are able a price.

O.K.- the materials I used are long gone from Tandy, but I'm pretty sure I can find something of a similar nature, I would likely use a "blacksmith" oily side, or a kodiak~  Did you have any preferences for colors?
