Naruto - Paper Sculpture by SewerShark Naruto - Paper Sculpture by SewerShark
Well, since DA don't feature a paper sculpture section, I had to improvise XD

This was made in canson 140 g/mē, with razors blades and stuff (ok, not much to comment =P)
This was a exercice for my design university class

I used a naruto picture I found on the internet

so did you print it out with the gradient shadows or is that because you curved it?

LOL, thanks for the comment.

As for the burguer...keep on trying, some things are a bit tricky, but you will see how creative you can be when you need to improvise. ;)

This is very cool. The kyuubi whiskers could be darker, but heck...I love how you used blue for his eyes. It really makes them stand out.

Have you thought of doing another one in full color?

I tried to make'em more evident, but it didn't worked out. =/

Acctualy, no, I didn't thought of doing it in full color. The whole idea of this work wast to make a Cutout Color like paper sculpture.

Thanks for the coment and the favs ^^ they are much apreciated, and visit me again, LOL o/

Paper sculpture is a kind of art that had been missing from a lot of places lately. People are geting used to work in digital medias, and forgeting about classic, more messy medias, LOL

Haha! Well, glad I could make you happy. There aren't that many Naruto fanarts (Heck, fanarts in general.) that are something other than flat images, so something like this is really refreshing to see! :[)

I think this is very well done. I love the scoring you did on his hair and the way you used layering to hide cut lines (the nose, eyebrow, forehead and headband is great).

I also really like the small use of color with a primarily white background.
