On my website I'm doing a series where I'm destashing my huge collection of scrap fabrics. ^-^ With every scrap I use up I make up a new little project for it, then give away the project pattern for free! I've amassed over seventy on my website so far, but I thought I would submit it here as well.

I made this up for myself and the boyfriend with some leftover minky scraps. I let the size of the scraps dictate the size of the pillow, so I ended up with a whopping 24" pillow! So in case you want to make one for yourself (or maybe a more reasonable 16" size, which is also included) I'm sharing the pattern with you all ♥

This is a .pdf pattern where the first half is written instructions, and the second half is a printable pattern.

Do you still sell this pattern?

Thanks so much! The download should work through deviantArt, but here's a direct link :)…

Wait, hang on - stuff it with batting? That seems like such a waste. Wouldn't stuffing be cheaper than the equivalent pillow-filling volume of batting?

Hm, I had always been told that batting and stuffing were interchangeable words, but perhaps I've been misled.
But for filling the pillow, yes, I did mean stuffing :)

I just made a pillow used your pattern this weekend!  It was a lot of fun~

But hey, if you're looking for some more projects to do, you should make a Zelda rupee pillow tutorial sometime!  I just thought that would be cool if you had time or if you wanted to ^^.

I've definitely thought about a rupee pillow :D
I'm so glad the pokeball pillow worked out for you -- yours turned out so amazing!

My friend did something like this for my a few years ago, but she swears her version is ugly and really wants to redo it. I wonder if your pattern might be able to help her. But I still have the pillow she made me and I love it to pieces! These are awesome projects to experiment and practice with:

Aw! That pillow looks great! What an awesome gift!
But yeah, I figured lots of people have probably made their own versions of a Pokeball pillow :) But since I was making one for myself anyway I thought I'd share the pattern in case someone wanted to make one and have all the measurements and prep work and stuff all done for them ♥
