Crap! I really wanted to go.
My brother's graduatin' from college (second in the family to do so next to me) and his dumb butt didn't even tell people until a week BEFORE he graduates. I was workin' on gettin' a ticket for me and my moms, but I only could pay for one. Since it was me moms birthday (May 1st), I paid her way. I'm pretty sure she's havin' a good time in Florida, but I still wanted to go...
Oh, well. Enough of that. Let's give the rundown on commissions.
As of now, only
are the only ones that I have to get skeches for. This is due to me gettin' money for moms to fly to Florida, which cut into my schedule. I'll be send those next week.
Everyone else's commission is either ready for flattening, or will be sendin' sketches as soon as I'm done with this journal. Sorry for not postin' last Saturday, but my moms is my transport. I'm over at a friend's house now since he got this weekend off.
I am in need to get some bill money as of now. Please, if you want to commission me, June slots are still available.
Thanks in advance.
Update #2: Please forgive me, guys.
It's been a bit hard tryin' to get to sketchin' these commissions. On top of artist's block, I've been a bit busy tryin' a lifestyle change ever since the bowels incident. I wasn't havin' no stools passin' through my colon for around four to five days straight (which never happened before to me ever), and I felt that I should try whatever I can to get the ol' digestive juices up an runnin' to full capacity... and I figured it out.
First, I wasn't eatin' enough foods with fiber. I'm a meat person. Love it to death. However without the fruits, veggies, nuts and the such to balance it all out, my digestive system became very sluggish and wasn't able to work properly.
Second thing was exercise. I'm a bit of a house mouse and rarely go out unless payin' a bill, doin' an odd job, visitin' family or buyin' household essentials. I know I'm out of shape since I get winded after ten flippin' push-ups. I used to do at least fifty easy. So, I've been doin' a bit of joggin' and other miscellaneous exercise to help get my body in motion which, in turn, gets my digestive system in motion...
... and it worked. Back to my regular size logs.
I'm truly sorry for neglectin' these commissions, guys. I just couldn't concentrate when I know I needed to release, but couldn't. Scared the crap out of me (pardon the pun). Also, I admit that when I get angry or worried, I tend to shut down and be off to myself, which is not fair to you guys. I need to change this (though, for the most part, it's odd jobs/family emergencies that keep me away from DA).
Though, I did said that I'll be finishin' with all my backlogged commissions during the month of May, I still got to get sketches out to commissioners that haven't gotten them yet. So, here's what I'm doin'.
I'll be postin' a schedule for all my commissioners to see later today. You can refer to that if you want to find out when you'll receive your sketch. I plan on finishin' and gettin' the sketches all approved before April is over. That way, all I have to worry about is colorin' for next month. If you don't see your commission on the schedule, it's because I either overlooked it (in that case, please note me) or is a June commission.
Speakin of June, I do still have slots left. Please note me if you're interested.
Thanks for understandin'. I'll get to your notes soon.
Update: Went to the doctor. As of now, perfect health. No abdomen pain when he pressed on my stomach. No signs of a hernia when strainin' or bending over. Vitals are good. All went well.
He did went on and referred me to a gastroenterologist, just in case of blockage/partial blockage. I was thinkin' about callin' them until I just had my first bowel movement within the past three days. No blood (though a lil sore while passing) I need advice here. Should I hold off on goin' to this specialist and see if my bowel movements fully improve, or just go on and make the appointment. I'm really not sure if my health insurance will cover all of it or not. So, suggestions are appreciated.
I'm still workin' on sketches right now, and will use all this week to finish all of them. Then get back on colors next week. Sorry for all the delays... I know... story of my life. But I do appreciate your patience. And the June commissions still stand. I do need the fundage to get some food in the house and pay this high Nipsco bill. Any help is appreciated.
A medical emergency came up and needed to be attended to. Blood started to flood into the toilet while I was takin' a dump, and a lot of it. Couldn't sit nor walk without pain. It was a complete nightmare...
I seem to be fine now for the most part, but I'm still skeptical. That's why I booked an appointment for a follow-up to make sure things are workin' right. It's been several years since I've seen a doctor for myself. I think I'm due for a check-up.
I'll let you guys know what the doc says once I get the word.
I will be postin' today, though not as much as I want. I'm still behind, and I'll need April and May to catch up on what I missed.
So, I won't be doin' May commissions this time around. But I do hope that you guys will take June slots instead. Just until I catch up.
It sucks that this has happened, but I got no choice but to play with the hand I've been dealt.
I'll be sendin' sketches in a few days while I'm feelin' alright. I'll read notes after I post later today.
