Gaaf dat je me zo gevonden hebt. Ja het is een kwestie van oefenen en blijven doen, de ervaring komt vanzelf. Maar je bent al lekker op weg zag ik.
Ook bedankt voor de Fav.

Thanks, i like you work also, especially when i realise you work almost with colorpencil, my compliments.
I try to use aquarelpaint as alternative for oilpaints and others, because i react allergical to these. So i use aquarelpaint on unusual ways, like with airbrush. I have to work very carefully and with many patient. Despite i use aquarelpaint with very strong colors it has no covering power. So to make for example a highlight on a dark surface it won't work. When to paint over an excisting layer, the excisting layer becomes wet again and so you can per accident smear the excisting layer out. It combines fine with colorpencils, i use them also for detail work. I also use pastel chalk and black ink for the finishing touch. I can recommend to buy a cheap aquarel set to experiment with. Colorpencils i use are also aquarel, so when i want i can smear our or egalize with a wet brush what i draw with it.
But always use at least aquarel paper with aquarelpaint, because the surface of usual paper becomes a landscape when it becomes wet.
Hope this information to be helpfull for you.
With kindly regards, ...

so basically, this just the same with watercolor paint? or it's just another name for watercolor? sorry, because i rarely hear aquarelpaint here. >.<
if it is watercolor paint, i've used some, but not skillfully.
if not, then i guess i'll get some, it sounds interesting.

i like the way u try to use varieties of equipment, eventhou u're allergical to some, u can still try another. that's very good of u.

oh, thanks again, that's surely helpful, and inspiring.

Lol idd, aquarelpaint is an other name for waterpaint. Here in the Netherlands we use both for the same, thought the rest of the world would do also, hehe.
After 15 years not drawing and painting because of the allergics, i started last year with drawing with pencil, than scanning it and paint it digitally. Seems the ideal solution for me. Than i read somewhere about proffesional digital painters about using waterpaint to see a fast impression for their ideas, so i tried and i seem not allergicall of it. Now i can't get enough of it, it gives me much more satisfaction than working digitally, but still, i love digital work also.
