Sketches 3

Been kind of busy for the last week so just one sketch. More background practice, this time more architectural than "natural" (these have all been screenshots from games). This is from Elden Ring, it's the opening shot of the cutscene from the Margit fight.

Don't know how this will go over, it looks rather light to me. I made it with a mechanical pencil as I was getting a little tired of wearing away a 4b with how much it took to cover the pages previously. I also wasn't sure about doing full shading, still not sure honestly. Thinking about it today it might be a good excuse to pull out my old pens, see if they can improve the look of this (see if the pens themselves work at all as well).

Update: I tried my pens, they were working and it was easier to do than I thought it would be, so I went over it in pen. For those who see this after the change the second pencil image featured here was actually the first thing I uploaded.

Also sorry for the double update for the same image (technically). I sometimes get good ideas after I've already uploaded something...
