Nice l like the New Frontier vibe. That movie/comic really brought a better understanding to the 40's and 50's inthe dcu.

I think a Nazi is more logical. She is shown here in her first costume. In WW II, the comic industry served as a kind of moral support for the american people and their soldiers at the front. Of course their heros and heroines fought against the same enemies as the USA. But that wasn't the soviets then. In fact, they were even part of the allied forces! But it was only after the war that this changed and the commies became the enemy #1 of the western world.
