Yes. :D
In the old town all roads are paved in stone. this is done with round stones and the type of flooring is called "at pebbles of river".

When I was but a wee lad, we had these river pebble ways though town. Alas, they have all been paved over...

Is a real shame. The old town is protected and not asphalt, while in the modern part is remained alone only a few churchyards of the old churches.

No, it's a one way street, there is a ban on parking on the right. :)

In Italy the car driven on the right, is only one case that there is prohibition of parking on the right. By that street you can just go down.

Very narrow!! Is this a back alley for garages etc., or a front street, where front doors are located? I can see why small cars are the norm in Europe!! :) Also I find interesting are the street lights, very unusual compared to the US,  but then we do not have such narrow streets!! Well, maybe some in Boston, NYC and Philadelphia as those are very old cities for US. Any how Sergio, thank you for your submission to our group, :iconsharpenededge: always appreciated that you share!!!

Thanks, Cathy.
No, this is a normal street of any old European city. The old town of Bergamo is a set of buildings that leave from the Middle Ages until the late nineteenth century and of course the roads were not designed for cars. Car traffic is restricted to residents, but there are also SUVs. :)

Yep! a SUV may take more than the half of the street (not this one in the photo.... but Hay, Italy is smaller than US, they do have bigger spaces....)

Pass, pass, I met them, the street is one-way, later on the hillside is a succession of nineteenth-century villas and residents have SUVs ... Nod
