Serdar Abay was born in 1981, Rize / Hemşin, Turkey.

Starting from a very young age he disclosed his observations and extraordinary outlook to life.

He spent artful years of his childhood with his art teacher elder brother.

His family atmosphere has a great Impact on his views and passion for art.

After signing several works in the field of visual arts, he completed his academic studies at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, .

As a result of trials and studies on traditional art and modern painting, he started to create contemporary artworks.

He has participated in various exhibitions at home and abroad, took part in various workshops and gave lectures and seminars.

His paintings exhibits the influence of Istanbul and its culture, as well as his love of nature.

He continues his prolific years in his lovely city of Istanbul in a studio surrounded by silence and beauty of nature.
