Yes I am :) Specifically VFX in film, but my focus is 3D Modelling!

What about you?

I'm all self-taught. I guess it's a passion and hobby. I love VFX and lighting and rendering. Most of my work is fairly simple so you can guess I don't put a lot of time into modeling, I wish I had the patience.

Do you want to work in games/movies/advertising/product design/etc?

Ahh, I don't have the patience for lighting (-_-) - You being self taught is pretty impressive, well done :)

Well I want to work in either games or film one day, mostly film. At uni we create assets and learn both sides of things.. You do any freelancing?

Thatīs nice, a simple yet still cool scene with nice atmosphere.
Iīm wondering, what kind of light setup did you use? The lighting looks quite real.
And BTW, what was the render time, since you were using GI, glossy reflections and a lot of other tricks.

about 20-40 mins....

i just used two vray lights, one slightly blue and one slightly orange.. different sizes, almost opposite angles but a bit more random

pot material is just plain diffuse orange, the ground is black with 100% (white) reflection... about .8
