For sure this is a very abstract print. The only thing that is really intact is the moon. But even then the moon is tinged with gray matter on top. Initially when looking at everything under the moon, I see the dominant color being black, and there's a confusion of shapes and lines that could have been initially made to depict a natural setting. But although, it looks confused, when there are subtle lines that look like they were well measured and cut straight. So the abstract confusion of mostly black is deliberate but organized. If animated effects were to be added its like you would have an abstract water setting with the water flowing from the mid-right to bottom left of the picture. And there would be a wind blowing accompanied by the sound of ruffling leaves of bamboo trees.
This makes me think that there was a natural setting that you once liked visiting by yourself during the night. It was especially relaxing when the moon was full. But then a time came when that land was used for development and now its all zoned up with buildings and concrete in a way that is awkward. A natural setting that is but a shell of what it used to be.
This is a good picture to have around for meditating, thinking, and reflecting. This would be a nice picture to have in my room when I just want to think in complete silence. Even if what is under the moon isn't exactly smooth.
