Finally putting my foot into the art pool. It took a good three days of working, but I finally did my first true art piece. It's a gift for my beloved Mei of my character (Robert Riven), her character (In-ka), and her ex-girlfriend's character (Kaloe). I have to say I impressed myself, as I wasn't expecting to produce something that's of such good quality. Goes to show you sometimes you should trust yourself more and not doubt yourself. You never know what you can do with the skill you have until you try.
Well, my -real- last semester of college is here. Last semester was supposed to be -the- last, but I ended up getting a C- in Farm Animal, meaning I have to retake that one course. However, it does have some benefits. I'm taking courses from the game design field as filler courses, so that way by the time I've graduated in veterinary technology, I'll also have a basic idea of how to create games and do artwork. In my Concepts of Design course, we did positive/negative drawings using stencils that we make in class and use them to create various works of art.
