Dawn of a new Day

A few months ago I comissioned for a drawing of Martin and I loved it so much. It was only a matter of time until I colored it. I already made the lineart a while ago but then I left it untouched for weeks. That was perfect because in the meantime I learned to use the new hair brush and experimented with different textures and effects. So I could use all this very well for this drawing

With 79 layers in total it is my non lineless drawing with the most layersxD It was such a pleasure to color this drawing and experiment with light, colors and textures The only thing that nearly made me lose my cool was the grass. It's so time consuming and the monotonous work drives me crazy sometimes But in the end it really turned out well and I am happy with it

I can't express how much I love the outcome and it is going to be my new favourite drawing
