Aethia and Valeane from Neopets.
Valeane was the original Battle Faerie. She disappeared into a dark forest after discovering that she herself was unable to master the Swords of Flame and Ice. Years later when Aethia found her, she passed the swords to Aethia, the current Battle Faerie.
Aethia quested long and hard throughout the Haunted Woods to find the Swords of Flame and Ice. Whilst trapped in a bog she encountered the spirit of the original Battle Faerie, Valeane who gifted the swords to her. Aethia resides in Faerieland and helps others master swordsmanship.
