Description
Here is the first part of 's 3 part "story" request.
Here we have the first of the 3 images, the beginning of the tale. Tarzan, Mowgli, Terk, Tantor and Hathi Jr. playing in the jungle while Kala keeps an eye on them.
This request had several guidelines, but there was one that was giving me trouble: drawing my own background. I was never satisfied with how it turned out, which is why I have been avoiding my request back up as of late. Ultimately I decided to use a preexisting background, so hopefully edengotterrcyan doesn't mind.

No I do not mind that you did not draw your own background actually the truth is that I was expecting this is very difficult to draw a background, the drawing itself is good very beautiful but my challenge was more for you, to push yourself a bit more, to overcome your drawing problems, I watch your evolution since you began to publish on deviantART and I see a lot of work, effort and pleasure you have very great potential and talent, continues to push yourself to overcome your problems if you avoid them they will not solve themselves, start trying new things start try new ways to draw do not be stuck just with one try to diversify.
Ok now let's talk about drawing
The GOoOD
Was a perfect choice to put both small elephants together, you have found a similarity between the two cartoons, I love how you did Turk you catch her personality actually you catch the personality of everyone, I like the way Kala looks and has fun how children plays, everybody is happy
The BAaAD
Is missing an adult character from the Mowgli side, The background work but does not have perspective the characters seem to float above the grass, you have to do something to tie them too the ground like a shadow, you need a light source and the background gives you one, you need to learn to do shadows on the characters and on the land that will give you dimension an illusion of 3D. You supposed to explain how or why the two got together, you could put two yellow eyes somewhere in the bushes to express the mystery, danger in the near future, like someone is looking at them and prepares a trap . . .
Conclusion
The drawing as a whole is very beautiful you catch mostly of the two stories youth, joy and fun good work congratulations
