Double Cynder

I sort of wanted to call it "The Scarab Hero and the Ashy-Colored Companion", but that seemed a little long. Here we have two different takes I have on the same character, Cynder the dragon. I think this might be the first time I combined two separate styles of coloring and shading in the SAME piece; it turned out kind of neat. Anyhow.

The spindly thing on the right is Cyndie as she would appear in my comic, 'Accidental Elemental' (and for those of you who don't know what that is, here you are [link] ). Thus, she's still in the Legend of Spyro universe. Not much else to say about this one, really...

And on the left, a cute little Cynder designed specially for a video game idea, 'Cynder's Tale', which stars Cyndie as the main character and plunks her into a completely fresh universe, with... well... bugs. Lots and LOTS of bugs. And Cyndie can even transform into a small black beetle and back again at will.

Anyway, I DO like Cynder; I think she's a character with a lot of potential, and I'm not sure she quite shined her brightest in LoS. There are so many ways you can interpret her, and these are a couple of my own interpretations. ^_^

Cynder is not my brainchild, even if I did interpret her, so I claim no brain-maternity.
