Some famous examples of alternative rock can be found from Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons, and Linkin Park.

Yeah when I want to concentrate, electronic/instrumental songs are the ones I go to. I usually just listen to mixes, and Celtic music is pretty good for long periods of work- for me anyways. When there's a song I find impressive + catchy, I usually listen to it for hours on end on repeat x) Typically, I don't get distracted if I listen to a song more than once or twice in a row ;p

Thanks for the understanding! I have random periods where I just can't find the time to do much other than work :(
You have a tonna work on your end too! I find a very effective way to keep on task is to find a mix that's 1 hour or longer and challenge yourself to keep working as long as the song is still playing. Good luck with that stuff :o

Hmm.. do you have any other interests aside from drawing and music? I am interested in programming as of current, and hoping to get on that as a future career.

Oh thanks for the recommendations! I do like alternative rock, and I'm usually not a fan of metal, but some songs/artists have some nice metal going along with it. Alternative rock like Starset's Telescope is really nice imo! I think you will like it, or at least the ending instrumental portion of it (: Pretty dramatic. From your list, I found K-391's song Summertime and Feint's Signs really appealing to the ears ;D

I'm alright with with pop as well, but rock music makes me feel motivated to do things! Gets my blood pumping. I like some of the peaceful anime music as well. Cinematic music gets me going, makes everything feel so dramatic. Spices up life!!

Sorry about my extremely delayed message, I had to stop getting off track because I had a ton of work to clear. Spent a few days doing that, but still have quite the work load. :(

Feeling more motivated to work with the help of your musics!

Oh the critique buttion is only for artists with core. I don't even have enough for a tablet atm so buying core is not really an option for me.
I'll try to get some art trades and maybe some fan art in the future!
Although it's pretty tough going with only a mouse so I'll probably stay away from uploads for a while after I finish up with my last requests.
Maybe I'll give discounts to people who give me critiques.

Getting started in DA is difficult but I try to pull through. You are very helpful.

That is a valid point. I'll take your experiences into consideration next time I think of doing art for other people.
I still have some requests that I promised to complete, but I guess this may be the last time. I like receiving critiques as a means to help me improve, but I guess there may be times when nitpicking can get out of hand.
I should feel more confident in my works to put prices on them.
Drawing for free for others was one of the ways I used to try to gain some more publicity but time spent wasn't proportionate to results, and so I will learn from this as well.

(: I deeply appreciate your insight, and I'll keep supporting you.
